Dance and Drum Classes                                  

Massengo is a Master teacher who teaches both dance and drum at all levels and ages. He is currently teaching the following classes.  Contact Massengo Constant   (massengo@massengo.net) for more information about attending any of these classes.

Mixed Level Drum Class This ongoing mixed level drum class meets on Wednesday nights at 7pm.  Cost is $15.  Please plan to bring your own drum.  It may be possible to rent borrow or rent a drum for the class. Please make arrangements in advance.  email Massengo for details.

Ballet Maba   This class for pre-teens and teens includes dance and drum as well as elements of performance.  Young people in this class have the opportunity to dance with the Ballet Maba performance group.  The class meets on Saturdays at the Malonga Casquelourd Centre for the Arts from 3pm-4pm.  The Malonga Centre is located at 14th St. and Alice in Oakland. Gaza

Massengo teaches dance and drum to youth in this after school program in San Francisco.  His students have most recently performed at the Cow Palace in San Francisco in December.

 

Dance Classes Massengo is lead drummer for several dance classes in the Bay area.  His students have the opportunity to drum with him at these classes as an important aspect of their drum training.  See schedule below

Workshop at University of Oregon 2005
